Abstract

Wine has such good nutritional value as
vitamins, minerals, cabohydrates, and phytopical
substances, a well as antioxidant, anticancet,
antiinflammatory, antiaging, and antimicrobes, the
fruit quickly decays this state makes the seller add
preservative material such as formaldehyde by
smearing it, injecting it, spraying it, even soaking it
in a solution of formalidehyde. Formalidehyde is one
of the preservatives that have a good ability to
preserve. The purpose of this to knoe whether there is
or not formaldehey on red grapes sold at the market
of the municipality of rokoan hulu. The locaion for
the production of red wine is a few of the markets of
the 8 seedilings, kunto darussalam, bangun purba,
tambusai, kabun, kepnuhan hulu, rambah hilir, ujung
batu, pagaran tapah darussalam. The test results
were described by viewing data of the test results in
the laboratory.qualitative data testing methodes are
described to test hypothetical research. The results of
this study indicate that all 16 samples of red wine
tested were positive (+) for formaldehyde, which was
confirmeed by testing hsil for a purple discoloration
of red wine.
